Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy is a Principal Engineer at Exponent with a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. With extensive experience in advising clients on electronic and optoelectronic technologies, analyzing failures, and damage to equipment, cables, and systems for electric power distribution and solar energy, Patrick has also taught as an Adjunct Faculty at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and as a Teaching Assistant at Princeton University. Patrick has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University with a focus on Photonics. Patrick also has experience in nanostructure engineering, photodetectors, solar cells, and simulation and control software development.
