Ryan Harrington

Ryan Harrington currently serves as Corporate Vice President and Principal at Exponent, where the focus is on analyzing complex technical and policy issues surrounding emerging transportation technologies, including automated vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems. Prior to this role, Ryan was Vice President of Safety at Motional, responsible for overseeing the automated vehicle safety program. Ryan's extensive experience includes previous positions as Principal at Exponent and Division Chief at the Volpe Center, leading teams in research related to new transportation technologies. Ryan's career began at Cummins, Inc. and Delphi Automotive Systems, where engineering and product development expertise was honed. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
