Vir Nirankari

Vir Nirankari, PhD, PE, is a Managing Engineer at Exponent since May 2017, with a history of advancing from Associate to Senior Associate in the same company. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where Vir Nirankari conducted experiments focused on fatigue crack propagation and utilized advanced techniques such as electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Additionally, Vir Nirankari was a Research Assistant at Boston University, awarded UROP funding for research on chemical vapor deposition techniques, and a Research and Development Intern at W.R. Grace & Co., where efforts centered on improving safety measures and equipment efficiency in the pilot plant. Education includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
