Kanan Salimov

Kanan Salimov serves as the Head of Communications at the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan – AZPROMO since March 2024, focusing on developing communication strategies and public relations campaigns. As the Founder and Project Director of the LinkedIn Community of Azerbaijan since January 2022, Kanan has significant experience in marketing and business development, previously holding the position of Director of Marketing and Business Development at EKVITA from June 2019 to March 2024. Kanan's expertise extends to various funded projects, including communication and visibility management for the Azerbaijan Employment Support Project and the EU-supported development of export strategy. Kanan's educational background includes a Bachelor's in Marketing from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and master's degrees from Tampere University and Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, complemented by studies at the University of Bologna.
