Ali Al-Shaabi, P. Eng., MBA, CBCA®, is a seasoned professional in finance and project management with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Global Account Director at Export Development Canada since July 2019, Ali manages key account relationships within the Canadian Global Investor team. Previous roles include Project Finance Manager at Export Development Canada, Senior Manager at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., and Asset Manager at EDF Renewables North America, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing major renewable energy projects, contract management, and ensuring compliance. Ali's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Graduate Diploma in Management from McGill University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
