Antonio Lopes

Antonio Lopes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global accounts management and finance, currently serving as the Global Accounts Director and Head of Life Sciences and Equity Investment Connect Groups at Export Development Canada since 2006. Previously held positions include Managing Director roles at DBRS overseeing Consumer, Retail, and Real Estate Corporate Ratings, as well as Scotiabank where responsibilities included leading Loan Syndications and Project Finance teams. Antonio has also contributed to the educational sector, serving as a trustee for the Toronto Catholic District School Board and holding various leadership positions in consulting and international business development. Antonio holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Toronto, an MBA from Schulich School of Business - York University, and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Windsor.
