Chadrick Buffel

Chadrick Buffel has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Assistant Treasurer and Principal Portfolio Manager at Export Development Canada since September 1991. Responsibilities include being a corporate specialist on the LIBOR/CDOR transition project and co-heading the long-term funding program, while also managing the ALM & FX portfolios. Previous roles include Manager of Corporate Banking, where a small team was overseen to manage the corporation's payment system, and Manager of Direct Lending - Loans Services, overseeing a team responsible for bilateral loan portfolio administration. Additionally, Chadrick has experience in financial services management, focusing on corporate clients in Asian markets. In 2002, a part-time professor role at the University of Ottawa involved teaching a quantitative course on bonds. Chadrick holds an MBA in International Finance and Marketing from Queen's University and a B Ed. in Art & Design and Business from the University of Alberta.
