Matt Hyland

Matt Hyland serves as the Director of Growth Capital Investments at Export Development Canada, focusing on providing growth financing and governance expertise to high-growth Canadian enterprises. With prior experience as an Investment Manager in the same department, Matt is also actively involved in governance roles as a Board Observer for Waabi, Procurify, and Nulogy, and as a member of the Board of Directors for Attabotics Inc. and Synaptive Medical. Previous roles include serving as Director of Investments at Apex Capital LLC, a Senior Associate at Gotham Consulting Partners, and a Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Matt holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from Western University.
