Philip Sauve

Philip Sauve, CMA, has over a decade of experience in financial services, currently serving as the Financing Manager for Corporate Lending at Export Development Canada since January 2010. In this role, Philip leads the underwriting process for corporate and asset-backed capital solutions, focusing on transaction credit reviews and customer management. Previous positions at EDC include Underwriter for Contract Insurance and Bonding, Credit Insurance Underwriter, Financial Services Manager, CIB Underwriter, and Risk Analyst, where Philip developed extensive expertise in credit analysis, risk assessment, and customer relationship management across various sectors. Philip began career as a Junior Accountant at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, honing skills in financial statement preparation and assurance engagements. Educational qualifications include a BComm in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and a CMA designation from The Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.
