Rabia Abrar is an experienced ESG Policy Advisor at Export Development Canada, responsible for governance functions related to environmental and social risk management policies. Previously, Rabia served as Operations Lead and Narratives Program Lead at the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, where innovative systems and strategies were developed to optimize communication and promote a Wellbeing Economy vision. Rabia's expertise in strategic communications was also demonstrated as a Consultant for the David Suzuki Foundation and as a Communications Lead for WEAll. Having a diverse background with roles at organizations such as Bell and SYSTEMIQ Ltd., Rabia's academic credentials include a Master of Science in City & Regional Management and Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an International Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from Schulich School of Business.
