Jonathan Laguardia

Jonathan Laguardia is a Full Stack Developer with experience in developing UX and data visualization components using Typescript and React. Jonathan has also worked on backend microservices using ExpressJS, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, and has integrated identity management and role-based access control using Keycloak.

Prior to that, Jonathan worked as a Senior Consultant at Octo (formerly Sevatec), where they practiced Agile development principles and developed new registration capabilities for the GSA Advantage application. Jonathan also supported migration of multiple applications to new versions of the Spring Framework and JBoss EAP for security compliance.

Before joining Octo, Jonathan was a Software Engineer at Leidos, where they worked on the GSA CAMEO program. Jonathan implemented business rules using Spring MVC and Hibernate frameworks and maintained continuous integration through unit testing and Jenkins job configuration.

Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin IS&GS Defense. Jonathan worked on the GPS and WIN-T programs, preparing design documents and writing system code and unit tests. Jonathan also served as a member of the Configuration Management team, administering the ClearQuest change-tracking tool and working closely with developers to maintain project code baselines and prepare releases.

Jonathan Laguardia graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2010.
