Chip Smadoi

Chip Smadoi has extensive experience in the technology field. Chip started their career in 2012 as a Field Technician at Cassidy Tire & Service, where they serviced heavy-duty equipment. In 2016, they became an Infrastructure Technician at Aerotek, where they worked with vendors to procure equipment and troubleshoot system failures. Chip then joined The ICEE Company in 2018 as a Field Support Technician, responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and providing technical support. Chip retrofitted and updated embedded computer systems during their time there. In 2021, Chip worked as a Data Migration Specialist at PNC, managing external partners and serving as the primary point of contact for communication. Currently, they are employed at Express Wash Concepts as a Network Administrator. Chip'sresponsibilities include monitoring network performance, configuring hardware and software, and implementing network security measures. Prior to that, they served as an IT Systems Support Specialist at the same company. Chip's work experience demonstrates their expertise in various IT roles and their ability to effectively support and manage technology systems.

Chip Smadoi is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Western Governors University, with an expected completion date in 2023. In addition to their academic pursuits, Chip has obtained several professional certifications. In February 2022, they acquired the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert Education. In July 2020, Chip obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Administration Fundamentals (MTA) certification from Microsoft. Most recently, in May 2023, they achieved the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet.
