Brian Petrich

Brian Petrich currently serves as the Director of Oncology at Expression Therapeutics, a position held since September 2020. Prior to this role, Brian was an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine from September 2014 to September 2020, where responsibilities included directing an NIH-funded research laboratory focused on the molecular basis of cell adhesion related to thrombosis and tumor blood vessel development. Earlier experience includes an Assistant Professor position at the University of California, San Diego from September 2008 to September 2014, managing a research laboratory centered on platelet integrin adhesion receptor signaling and its role in cardiovascular disease, as well as conducting postdoctoral research at the same institution from 2004 to 2008 in Dr. Mark Ginsberg's laboratory. Brian earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a B.A. in Natural Science from Saint John's University.
