Matt Weiss

Matt Weiss is the Deputy Physician-in-Chief and Director of Surgical Oncology at Northwell Health, where they currently lead the Surgery Service Line. They previously served as System Vice Chair and Vice President of Surgery at the same institution. Matt completed a Surgical Research Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2005 to 2007 and held various academic positions at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Surgery. They completed their MD at Thomas Jefferson University in 2003, followed by a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
