Roya Shameli

Roya Shameli is a Clinical Counselor at Expressions Counselling since January 2024, with a background in nursing as a Clinical Nurse Educator at Vancouver Coastal Health since January 2019. Prior to this, Roya worked as a Case Management Nurse at Fraser Health Authority starting in January 2013 and as a Mental Health Manager at Sienna Senior Living from October 2020 to January 2024. Roya holds a Master's degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from Athabasca University, completed from January 2019 to September 2023, and a bachelor of science in psychiatric nursing from Douglas College achieved between 2008 and 2012. Through their roles, Roya utilizes their expertise to deliver education, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance clinical practice outcomes.
