Ahmed Alzuaybir has a range of work experience in project management and engineering roles. Ahmed worked as a Senior Project Manager for the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority, although specific details about their role and duration are not provided. Ahmed is currently employed as a Construction Professional Engineer for the same organization since October 2021.
Prior to their current role, from 2016 to 2021, Ahmed worked as a Project Engineer for Saudi Aramco Via SRACO, where they successfully executed multiple projects and led construction activities for a large crude storage tank and civil works at the Khurais Central Process Facility.
In 2016, they briefly worked as a Civil Engineer for Bina Al-Ajyal for Contracting before joining the Technical Committee Haram Expansion Project in 2015. As a Trainee Project Engineer in the committee, Ahmed was involved in inspecting structural elements, monitoring construction progress, and preparing reports for the expansion of Haram mosque.

In July 2015, they also obtained an Introduction to Concrete Field Testing Technician (ACI- Grade I) certification from the Technical Committee Haram Expansion Projects. Furthermore, they obtained a safety certification from the Technical Committee Haram Expansion Project in June 2015.

Expro was formed pursuant to a Cabinet Decision issued on February 23, 2021 corresponding to Rajab 11, 1442 AH, pursuant to Resolution No. (389), to include the National Program for Supporting Project Management, Operation and Maintenance in Public Entities (Projects) to the Spending Efficiency Achieving Center, and transforming the Center into the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority governmental.
