Kamel Elhofy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they hold the position of Contracts / Commercial Manager at Serco, starting in March 2022. In addition, they are also a Contracts Expert at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority since March 2022.

Prior to their current positions, Kamel worked as a Claims Manager at Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) from February 2021 to February 2022. Kamel Elhofy also served as a KAP4-Contracts Manager and Risk Manager at Al ARRAB CONTRACTING COMPANY from June 2016 to February 2021 and from April 2015 to January 2021, respectively.

In earlier stages of their career, Kamel gained experience as a Senior Planning and cost control engineer at TAV - ACC JV from January 2012 to February 2015. Kamel Elhofy also worked as a Senior Cost Control Engineer at Al ARRAB CONTRACTING COMPANY from March 2011 to January 2012, and as a Planning/Cost Control Engineer at AZMEEL Contracting from March 2009 to February 2011.

Before that, Kamel held roles as a Planning/Scheduling Engineer at Al ARRAB CONTRACTING COMPANY from February 2007 to February 2009, as a Site Engineer at Mancrew Steel Buildings from April 2006 to February 2007, and as a Steel Design Engineer at Butler Steel Buildings Distributors from February 2006 to January 2007.

Kamel Elhofy's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, which they obtained from Alexandria University from 1999 to 2006. Following this, they earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009.
