Hamad Alajlan has diverse work experience in project management and planning roles. Currently, they serve as a Senior Project Manager at the Government Projects and Expenditure Authority. Hamad joined this organization in March 2022. Prior to this, Hamad worked at the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS) where they held the position of Planning and Control Manager (Acting) from September 2020 to March 2022. Hamad was responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations planning and control activities and played a key role in transforming the department into a World Class Manufacturer. Before that, from February 2016 to September 2020, they worked as a Planner and Controller at NCMS. Additionally, Hamad gained valuable experience during their internship at EDF in 2014 and their trainee role at Aramco in 2013.

Hamad Alajlan holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from VarSigma. In 2021, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Recently, in 2022, they obtained the Prosci Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci and the Balanced Scorecard Professional certification from the Balanced Scorecard Institute.

Expro was formed pursuant to a Cabinet Decision issued on February 23, 2021 corresponding to Rajab 11, 1442 AH, pursuant to Resolution No. (389), to include the National Program for Supporting Project Management, Operation and Maintenance in Public Entities (Projects) to the Spending Efficiency Achieving Center, and transforming the Center into the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority governmental.
