Charles Butler

Charles Butler is an experienced Component Engineer with a solid background in materials management and obsolescence issues, currently employed at Extant Aerospace since October 2013. At Extant Aerospace, Charles leads the obsolescence management team and maintains essential databases. Previously, Charles worked at Kratos Training Solutions and Elreha Controls, focusing on approved source lists and material oversight. With extensive experience at DRS Tactical Systems and Mnemonics, Inc., Charles effectively managed inventory reduction, reliability studies, and supplier communication. A long tenure at Dictaphone showcased leadership in implementing Just-in-time principles, significantly enhancing inventory management and supplier certification processes. Charles holds a high school education from General HH Arnold High School and Pinedale High School.
