Tiago Correia

Senior Vice President, Development at Extell

Tiago Correia has extensive work experience in the development and architecture industry. Tiago started their career as an Associate Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects in 2001 and remained in that role until 2012. Tiago then joined Tishman Speyer as a Summer Associate in their Leadership Development Program in 2013 and later became an Associate in the same program from 2014 to 2015. Tiago then worked as the Director for Zaha Hadid Architects in the USA from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Extell as an Assistant Vice President in the Development department from 2017 to 2019, then as a Vice President from 2019 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President in Development.

Tiago Correia holds a diverse educational background. Tiago started their educational journey at the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon, Portugal, where they completed a Classical Drawing Course from 1994 to 1997. Later, from 1995 to 2001, Tiago studied at the University of Lisbon, where they received a Licentiate in Architecture. During their studies, they participated in the Socrates-Erasmus Program 2000 scholarship at the Sapienza Università di Roma in 2000.

Further enhancing their educational qualifications, Tiago pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Double Major in Real Estate and Finance at The Wharton School. Tiago attended this prestigious institution from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Tiago Correia has obtained various certifications in their field. Tiago became an International Associate of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in March 2016. Furthermore, in June 2008, they achieved the status of RIBA Chartered Member from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
