Kathleen Li

Kathleen Li has a strong background in analytics and risk management. Kathleen currently holds the position of Head of Analytics, Data Science, and Risk at Extend, where they lead a team of data scientists and is responsible for merchant pricing, portfolio optimization, merchant intelligence, consumer analytics, and growth analytics. Prior to Extend, Kathleen worked at Affirm, Inc. as a Senior Manager and Manager of Pricing Analytics, and as the Credit Analytics Lead. Kathleen also has experience as Vice President of Risk Analytics at Wells Fargo, Assistant Vice President of Risk Analyst Lead at Barclays, and as a Research Analyst at State Farm. Kathleen started their career as a Financial Peer Educator at the Financial Wellness Center U of I Extension.

Kathleen Li has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Operational Research from Columbia University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Planning and Services, Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition, they have obtained certifications in SAS Base Programming for SAS9 from SAS Global Certification and in Market Information Lab Software Proficiencies Program from the University of Illinois College of Business in 2014.
