Edward Dyk

Edward Dyk has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Edward is currently working at extendedReach by KCare as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, where they lead a team in re-architecting and supporting a web-based foster care and case management solution. Edward also designs and implements DevSecOps and software release best practices to ensure system security and quality. Prior to this, Edward worked at Amway as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed solutions for an international marketing and eCommerce platform. Edward was responsible for participating in the System Architecture Board and working within the SAFe Agile Framework. Edward also has experience working at SpartanNash as an Information Technology Application Specialist, where they played a key role in migrating the team to a full-stack development group and establishing code quality DevOps and standards. Earlier in their career, they worked at Johnson Controls as a Software Engineer, developing client-server software and designing custom label printing applications.

Edward Dyk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Calvin University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2022.
