Matteo Alessani

Matteo Alessani has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matteo is currently serving as the Head of Product at Commerce Layer, where they are responsible for adding ecommerce functionalities to various platforms. Prior to this, Matteo co-founded and owned Extendi, a prominent tech company offering complex tech solutions and web applications across Europe.

In addition, Matteo worked as a Partner & Rails Developer at MyBlogJournal, a web 2.0 startup aiming to become a major online news aggregator. Matteo also gained experience as a Java Developer at Università degli Studi di Firenze and as a self-employed Web Developer specializing in PHP, ASP, and ASP.NET custom solutions for clients.

Matteo Alessani completed their education from 1998 to 2004 at Università degli Studi di Firenze, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a score of 110/110L. In terms of additional certifications, Matteo Alessani obtained the DataStax Administrator for Apache Cassandra certification from DataStax in July 2013.
