Senior Learning Strategist at Extension Engine

Lauren Gould is a Senior Learning Strategist at Extension Engine, LLC. Prior to joining Extension Engine, Lauren Gould served as a Senior Instructional Designer at the company from June 2016 to February 2019. Before that, they were an Instructional Designer at Boston University from November 2014 to June 2016.

Gould began their career as an Education Entrepreneurship Fellow at Harvard Innovation Labs in June 2013. In September 2012, they co-founded Propagate, Inc., where they served as Lead Instructional Designer until December 2013. From January 2012 to August 2012, Gould was a Content Development Lead at Innofluence.

From October 2010 to January 2012, Gould worked as a Web Content Developer, Writer and Editor at Foundation For Environmental Education. Lauren also spent time as an Educational Content Writer at GCFLearnFree.org from May 2010 to August 2010. In addition, Gould served as a University Instructor at Victoria University of Wellington from January 2010 to March 2010 and at The University of Iowa from January 2008 to January 2009.

Lauren Gould has a EdM from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in Technology, Innovation, and Education. Lauren also has an MFA from University of Iowa in Iowa Writers' Workshop - Poetry. Lauren has a e-Learning Certificate from North Carolina State University in Teaching in the Online Environment. Lauren has a Certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages (CELTA) from Cambridge University and a BA from North Carolina State University in English.
