Debadatta Barik

Debadatta Barik has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Debadatta started their career at Tata Consultancy Services in 2001 as an IT Analyst, where they contributed to high-level design and created low-level designs. Debadatta worked there until 2006.

In 2006, Debadatta joined IBM as an Application Architect and later transitioned into the role of Project Manager in 2012. In these roles, they were responsible for creating work orders, tracking purchase orders, leading commercial discussions with clients, and managing various projects. Debadatta worked at IBM until 2016.

Following their tenure at IBM, Debadatta joined Extentia Information Technology in 2016 as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, they handled sprint planning, exit definition, and other project management duties. Debadatta then progressed to the position of Delivery Manager in 2020, where they oversaw the delivery of various projects.

Currently, Debadatta holds the position of Director of Delivery & Salesforce Practice at Extentia Information Technology, a role they assumed in 2023.

Debadatta Barik obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Debadatta then pursued a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 1999 to 2001.

Additionally, Debadatta Barik has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Debadatta became a Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant in March 2022 and a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) in August 2020. In July 2020, they obtained a certification in System Configuration from Accela. Earlier, in September 2018, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. In February 2017, they obtained both the Certified ScrumMaster and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications from Scrum Alliance. In January 2004, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional.
