Sunder Rao Swarana

Sunder Rao Swarana has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sunder Rao is currently serving as the Director - Delivery Operations at Extentia Information Technology, a position they have held since April 2022.

Prior to this, Sunder worked at Edukemy as the Head of IT Programs, Operations, Partnerships & Alliances from May 2021 to March 2022.

From October 2018 to May 2021, Sunder was the Founder of Ideanest Labs Private Limited.

Sunder also has a significant tenure at Gfi Informatique, where they held the role of Associate Vice President from July 2011 to September 2018. During their time at Gfi Informatique, they managed an offshore delivery center, headed various support functions, oversaw delivery management for the travel & hospitality vertical, and led several initiatives including setting up a culture of learning and innovation.

Before joining Gfi Informatique, Sunder worked at Amdocs from December 2009 to July 2011 as an OSS - QA Manager, and prior to that, they held the role of Quality Expert at Amdocs from May 2007 to December 2009 and from November 2006 to May 2007.

Sunder also has experience as a Business Excellence Analyst at Unisys Global Services India from September 2005 to October 2006, as a Team Leader - Quality at Tata Business Support Services from July 2004 to September 2005, and as a Quality Assurance Leader at WNS Global Services from May 2001 to October 2003, where they led a process automation team and implemented ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Sunder began their career as a Web Designer and Content Developer at Salus Technologies Pvt Ltd from May 2000 to February 2001.

Sunder Rao Swarana's education history begins with their high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1981 to 1996, where they studied science. In 1996, they enrolled at Symbiosis International University, where they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from 1996 to 1999, specializing in commerce. Simultaneously, they also pursued software engineering at NIIT from 1996 to 2000, earning a GNIIT degree. In 2016, Sunder Rao Swarana attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for the Senior Leaders' Programme, focusing on organizational leadership.
