Zahra Yousefli has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Zahra is currently working as a Co-Founder at ExtergyAI since February 2020. In 2021, they joined Mother Hospital (The second phase) as a Senior Architect and Construction Project Manager. In terms of academia, Zahra worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University from 2015 to 2021, where they focused on facility management and developed simulation models for resource allocation and maintenance planning in healthcare facilities. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Fellow at Next AI from March 2020 to October 2020. Prior to their research position, Zahra worked as a Senior Design Architect at White Architecture Consulting Engineers from 2003 to 2015, contributing to the construction project of the General Department of Telecommunication in Mashhad, Iran. Zahra also worked at Noi Consulting Engineers as a Senior Design Architect from 2010 to 2015. Lastly, Zahra gained teaching experience as a Lecturer at Eqbal Lahoori Institute of Higher Education (ELIHE) from 2009 to 2014 and at the University of Kashan from 2005 to 2007.
Zahra Yousefli's education history begins in 1998, when they obtained their Master's degree in Architecture Engineering from Islamic Azad University. Zahra then went on to complete a Master's degree in Construction Project Management from the University of Tehran between 2004 and 2007. In 2014, they pursued further studies in Anglais et français as an Etudient libre at Université de Montréal for a year. Zahra went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Building Engineering from Concordia University, graduating in 2021.
