Alex Zapka has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career at Target in 2008 as a Sales Team Member, where they learned the basics of sales and gained experience in customer service. In 2013, they interned as an Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity International. In 2014, they worked briefly as an Account Manager at RockSolid, Inc.
In 2014, Alex joined Siteimprove North America as a Sales Development Representative, where they demonstrated a consistent ability to achieve sales goals and generated $300K of new business through effective outreach. They were promoted to Senior Sales Development Representative and implemented new metrics, compensation structure, and training programs that resulted in increased sales and improved team collaboration. From 2016 to 2020, Alex worked as an Account Executive at Siteimprove, where they initiated and presented SaaS solutions, exceeding targeted sales quotas.
In 2020, Alex joined Extole as an Account Executive, utilizing their experience and skills to help marketers realize the value of customer-led growth.
Alex Zapka holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Accessibility Technical, Web Governance, and Accessibility Non Technical from Siteimprove in December 2014. Furthermore, they have also obtained certifications in Ads Search Verification and Googel Ads Fundamentals from Google in June 2019.
