At Extra Innings Ventures, we believe in the global potential of startups established by experienced founders and are thrilled to do our part in shaping their path to success.

Based in Toronto, we are pre-seed investors, providing early-stage funding to promising startups before they grow their seed round. We specialize in supporting startups in e-commerce, cleantech, sports tech, and medical technology. Our mission is to empower these founders to build thriving Canadian startups by offering resources, guidance, and mentorship.

So, what is an experienced founder? Someone who is a seasoned professional, often highly skilled, knowledgeable, and capable of making sound judgements and decisions based on their years of practical experience. Of course, this implies that they have been working in their profession for a significant amount of time and have begun their entrepreneurial journey later in life - in baseball terms, they are playing in their extra innings.

Sound familiar? If so, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us and tell us your story.
