Someone who is a seasoned professional, often highly skilled, knowledgeable, and capable of making sound judgements and decisions based on their years of practical experience. Of course, this implies that they have been working in their profession for a significant amount of time and have begun their entrepreneurial journey later in life - in baseball terms, they are playing in their extra innings.
