Karl Wenger

Karl Wenger has had a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network services. Karl started their career in 1994 as an NT Systems Engineer at 3Com, where they worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2017, Karl served as the Sr. Director of Network Services at Extra Space Storage. Karl then held the position of Sr. Director of Information Security at the same company from 2017 to 2023. Currently, Karl is the Vice President of Information Security and Compliance at Extra Space Storage. Additionally, Karl worked as the Director of Network Services at Centershift from 2002 to 2005.

Karl Wenger attended Western Governors University from 2005 to 2009, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. Karl obtained certifications such as CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification and CompTIA Security Analytics Professional – CSAP Stackable Certification in July 2023. In November 2021, they acquired the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, and in September 2021, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification. Additionally, they earned a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification from Microsoft in 1998.
