Lina Khatib

Lina Khatib is a Principal Analyst at ExTrac and a Visiting Scholar at Harvard's Belfer Center focusing on the Middle East Initiative. Khatib serves as an Associate Fellow with Chatham House's Middle East & North Africa Programme and as an Advisory Board Member for CMEC. Experience includes being an Associate at the Imperial War Museums and a member of the Advisory Board for Capsule. As a co-founder of the World Metal Congress, Khatib connects the global heavy metal community. Other affiliations include membership with the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime and serving as Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees for Seenaryo. Khatib was Director of the SOAS Middle East Institute and holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, an MA in Mass Communication/Media Studies, and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from reputable universities.
