Nick Braun has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Nick started their career as a Product Development Intern at Dedicated Computing in 2005. After that, they worked as a Windows/Micro Systems Administrator at UW-Madison CAE Labs from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they joined Fluke Networks as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in developing a SaaS product using Ruby on Rails and Node.js. In 2011, Nick worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Dezign Corporation, where they designed and developed websites, including integration with Constant Contact and Google's calendar API. Nick then transitioned to ExtraHop Networks in 2015, where they currently hold the position of Principal Software Engineer, focusing on modernizing UI technologies with React and TypeScript. Additionally, they have freelanced as a Web App Developer during 2015-2017.

Nick Braun attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Data Science from the University of Washington.
