Bill Beerman

Bill Beerman is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking industries. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Hardware Engineer at Extreme Networks since March 2013, Bill has held various engineering roles across prominent companies including Overture Networks, Hatteras Networks, Pliant Systems, Scientific Atlanta, and BroadBand Technologies. Expertise includes co-leading the architecture team for a next-generation digital loop carrier system and designing products with full lifecycle support in video and telecom applications. Bill began his career with hands-on experience at Nortel and completed foundational engineering work during an internship at Duke Energy Corporation. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
