Tom Langlois

Tom Langlois is an experienced IT executive with a focus on software development and business intelligence. Currently serving as Director of IT Back Office at Extreme Networks since December 2022, Tom has previously held various leadership roles at Ciena from 2011 to 2022, including Director of IT Sales & Marketing, where responsibilities involved the development of SaaS solutions and collaborative efforts with key business teams. Significant achievements include leading a $30M Oracle platform upgrade and directing numerous Oracle development and business intelligence initiatives. Prior to Ciena, Tom was Director of Core Business Software Development at Nortel and played a pivotal role in a major SAP migration project. Tom's career began at Bay Networks and Osram Sylvania, with a strong educational background in Management Information Systems from Salem State University.
