Miguel Freitas

Miguel Freitas currently serves as the Editorial Lead - Social at EXTREME since August 2021, following roles as Senior Social Editor and Social Editor within the same company. Previous experience includes working in the concierge team at Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard in London from May 2021 to May 2023, as well as serving as a Monitor at ALA Viagens from September 2019 to February 2020, where Miguel educated visitors about exhibitions and traveled with student groups across Europe. Earlier positions encompassed roles as a Welcome Ambassador and in Guest Relations at W Barcelona from July 2018 to September 2019, and an internship in the Business Department at InterContinental Porto-Palacio das Cardosas in late 2017. Miguel holds a Master’s degree in Global Marketing from IPAM (2019-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Activities Management from Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto (2015-2018).
