Gregory R Wade Ph.D. has an extensive work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. In 1993, they began their career as an Associate at Helix Investments (Canada) Inc. Gregory R then joined Procyon Biopharma Inc. in 1997 as Director of Corporate Development. In 1999, they moved to Isis Pharmaceuticals as Director of Business Development. In 2000, they joined Pacific Growth Equities as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Associate in Healthcare Equity Research. In 2009, they moved to Wedbush Securities as Managing Director of Healthcare Equity Research, where they provided coverage of emerging pharmaceutical companies and the BioDefense sector. In 2015, they joined BTIG as Managing Director of Healthcare Investment Banking. In 2021, they joined Intensity Therapeutics, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer and Danforth Advisors as Managing Director of Capital Markets Advisory and Co-Lead of the Western Region. Gregory R is currently the Chief Business Officer and Head of Finance at EXUMA Biotech, a clinical-stage biotechnology company discovering and developing cell and gene therapies for solid & liquid tumors.
Gregory R Wade Ph.D. obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Dunbarton Highschool between 1982 and 1987. Gregory R then attended Western University where they earned an Hon. B.Sc. in Medical BioPhysics between 1987 and 1992. Gregory R continued their studies at Western University and obtained a Ph.D. in Physiology between 1992 and 1999. Dr. Wade has also obtained several certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) in October 2018, Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative Qualification Exam in July 2015, Series 86 - Research Analyst Exam and Series 87 - Research Analyst Exam in March and February 2005 respectively, Series 63 - Uniform Securities State Law Exam in March 2003, and Series 7 - General Securities Representative Qualification Exam in February 2003.
