Nishant Kathil

As a Data Solutions Director for Exusia, Nishant is responsible for leading the technical vision and implementation of large complex data management programs for Exusia’s global clients. In this capacity, he supports the solution design and technical implementation of large-scale data-centric solutions. Nishant’s driving force behind empowering clients with scalable solutions that deliver a measurable ROI is his intense focus on innovation and delivering business transformation. He has been successful in enabling clients with high-volume, low latency, real-time systems that process more than 350 million transactions per day with terabytes of data.

With 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Management as a dedicated client-centric technologist, Nishant has a consistent track record of delivering excellence with such clients as TransUnion and Travelers Insurance. Nishant has comprehensive knowledge of the full software development lifecycle including business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification, application development, testing, and delivery. He has technical expertise within the Ab Initio product suite including GDE, EME, Conduct>It, continuous flows, meta-programming, web services (including SOAP, XML, JSON, and RPC), as well as integrating 3rd party software applications built on C, C++, and Java.

Prior to Exusia, Nishant was a Software Engineer at L&T Infotech. He received several company awards for his contributions to building cutting-edge, data-centric client solutions for his international insurance clients. Nishant received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Medi-Caps Institute of Technology & Management, Indore. While at Medi-Caps, Nishant was one of the founds and architects of the university’s newsletter. He was also involved in leading and organizing intercollegiate events. Nishant is a Certified ScrumMaster®, holds certifications for DB2 and P&C Insurance (AINS21), and has extensive experience in Teradata, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Nishant enjoys cooking and is passionate about fitness. He enjoys running, weight training, and swimming. He believes in giving back to the community. Nishant is actively involved in charity organizations including The Red Cross, Food for The Poor, as well as various disaster relief funds around the world.
