Thando Twala

Thando Twala is a Senior Reliability Engineer at Exxaro Resources since June 2023, responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the reliability and maintainability of systems and processes through reliability analyses, project management, and technical expertise. Prior to this role, Thando served as a Consultant in Asset Optimisation at Ausenco, focusing on tactic development and resource management. Thando's experience at Palabora Mining Company included various positions such as Junior Mechanical Engineer and Acting Superintendent Maintenance, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance strategy formulation, project engagement, and stakeholder management. Thando holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
