Wandile Basson

Wandile Basson is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain management. Currently serving as Manager Procurement at Exxaro Resources since October 2017, Wandile has previously held significant roles at Anglo American, including Superintendent Supply Chain, Procurement Manager, and Inventory Manager, overseeing purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management functions. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Forensic Investigator at the Special Investigating Unit, Warehouse Supervisor at the Electoral Commission of South Africa, and Trainee Business Analyst at SITA SOC (Ltd). Wandile holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management from the University of Port Elizabeth, a Certificate in Management Consultancy from the University of Pretoria, and completed the Anglo Programme in Management Excellence at GIBS Business School.
