Alan Pagni is a Senior Application Development Engineer at Materia since October 2018, focusing on product and business development for novel thermoset systems across various industries, including oil and gas, wind energy, and automotive. Prior to this role, Alan served as a Senior Product Development Scientist and later as a Supervising Product Development Chemist at General Plastics Mfg. Co., where responsibilities included designing materials for aerospace and nuclear applications and managing product life cycles. Earlier in the career, Alan was a Product Development Chemist at Willamette Valley Company, creating thermoset coatings and adhesives for engineered wood products and other applications. Alan holds a Master of Science in Polymer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Organic and Biochemistry from the University of Oregon.
