Renzo Angeles

Renzo Angeles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in petroleum engineering, currently serving as Principal Engineer for Well Equipment & Reliability at ExxonMobil since December 2008. Renzo has championed hardware integrity and reliability in completion equipment across the global Wells organization, demonstrating expertise in complex equipment issue resolution, well design evaluation, and new technology qualification. Previous roles at ExxonMobil include Completion Equipment SME and Completions Advisor for the Sakhalin Drill Team, where Renzo provided operational support for major oil fields and coordinated advanced completion equipment selection. Renzo's career also includes significant positions at Chevron/Statoil and Schlumberger, focusing on field engineering and project management. Renzo holds a PhD and MS in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
