Ted Long

Ted Long is a seasoned Senior Technical Advisor with extensive expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics and oil and gas applications, particularly in upstream subsurface operations. Currently serving as an Advisor for Production Surveillance and Optimization at ExxonMobil, Long has contributed to various technical workflows and best practices. Their past roles include Engineer at Fisher Controls, where they focused on valve simulations, and Research Engineer at Westinghouse Savannah River Company, specializing in severe accident analysis for nuclear facilities. Long holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Applied Math from the University of Arizona, complemented by both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
