Dr. Jochen Oelert

Dr. Jochen Oelert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dr. Jochen began their career in 1998 as a consultant at Prof. Dr. Ringlstetter. In 2002, they joined thyssenkrupp, where they held various positions including Manager Corporate Controlling, Assistant to CEO tk Technologies and Board Member tk, Head of Business Development and M&A thyssenkrupp Technologies, CFO thyssenkrupp Forging (Europe), and CFO thyssenkrupp Access (Global). Dr. Jochen then served as Head of Board Office thyssenkrupp Technologies (CEO) from an unspecified time until 2012, and later as Head of Strategy, Markets and Development at tk Industrial Solutions from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014, Dr. Oelert has been with Exyte, where they have held the positions of Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A, Head of Strategy, M&A and Marketing, and currently serves as Global SVP Strategy, M&A and ESG.

Dr. Jochen Oelert holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in BWL from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Dr. Jochen also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Dr. Jochen completed leadership training at IMD and Harvard Business School. In addition, they obtained a Dr. degree in BWL from Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Dr. Jochen completed their high school education at Rabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium in Mainz and graduated from Shasta High School in Redding, CA. Dr. Jochen also attended Kaiser-Wilhelms-Gymnasium in Hannover.
