Martin Hanzl is a Partner and Head of New Technologies at EY Law Austria – Pelzmann Gall Größ Rechtsanwälte GmbH, specializing in New Technologies and Digital Law, particularly in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and related legal challenges. As a Co-Reporter for the European Law Institute's project on Blockchain and Smart Contracts, Martin contributes to developing guidelines at a European level. In addition to this role, Martin serves as a lecturer at both Anwaltsakademie GmbH and FH Campus Wien, where knowledge is shared on blockchain implications and support is given to start-ups on legal matters. Martin's extensive educational background includes multiple degrees with honors, culminating in a Doktor iuris from the University of Vienna.
