Alex Barker

Alex Barker is a Director in EY’s indirect tax practice based in Brisbane, Australia, with over 10 years of experience advising on Goods & Services Tax (GST) matters across various industries. They began their career as a Production Assistant at Southern Cross Austereo from 2010 to 2014 and later served as a Claims Specialist at Suncorp Group from 2011 to 2012. Subsequently, Alex advanced to EY, where they held positions as a Senior Consultant and Senior Manager in Indirect Tax before becoming a Director in 2023. Alex earned a Bachelor of Commerce from QUT between 2008 and 2011.
