Alex Chen is a consulting actuary and experienced data analytic leader. Currently, Alex serves as an Independent Examiner for the Actuaries Institute, focusing on general insurance pricing. Previously, Alex held various roles at EY from 2019 to 2023, including Associate Director and Senior Manager, and worked as a Senior Pricing and Portfolio Analyst at Wesfarmers Insurance from 2012 to 2015. Alex also gained experience as an Actuary at IAG in 2015 and 2016. Alex earned both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Actuarial Studies from The Australian National University.
