Amé Thwaits is an accomplished Africa Innovation & Digital Leader at EY, where they serve as a Partner and are actively involved in the Global AI Assurance Leadership team. With over 15 years of experience in the Mining and Financial sectors, Amé is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and Registered Auditor (IRBA), driven by a commitment to enhancing audit quality through the integration of Artificial Intelligence. They have previously held key roles at Deloitte and KPMG, and are noted for launching an analytics training program in collaboration with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) to improve the analytical skills of audit trainees.
