Brian Wilens

Brian Wilens is a Senior Software Engineer at EY, having joined the company in April 2024. Prior to this role, Brian served as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer at Nuvalence from April 2021 to April 2024. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2018 to March 2021, where notable contributions included the design and implementation of drone-based optical tracking and communication systems and the optimization of communication protocols. Brian co-founded and served as President of Open-Source at Illinois, one of the university's largest technology student organizations, facilitating the promotion of open-source advocacy and collaboration on practical projects among students. Brian holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering Physics and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 2015 and 2020.
