Debi Heiskala is the Partner and EY Americas Exempt Organization Tax Services Leader, currently leading a national team dedicated to assisting exempt organizations with tax operations. With past experience as a Director at Deloitte Tax LLP from 1996 to 2008, Debi provided tax consulting and compliance services to tax-exempt organizations in Southern California. Debi is pursuing both a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at San Diego State University-California State University. Since 2008, Debi has been advising a wide range of tax-exempt entities on various tax issues, representing many before the Internal Revenue Service.
