Duane Newman is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an EY Tax Partner, Duane also holds the position of Director at Cova Advisory & Associates (Pty) Ltd. Additionally, Duane is an active board member and the Chairman of the Tax Incentive Committee at The South African Institute of Tax Professionals and serves as Chairman of the Incentive Consultants Association. Duane has also chaired the Tax Forum for the American Chamber of Commerce in South Africa. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed between 1987 and 1990, and earlier education at CBC Boksburg from 1980 to 1986.
